sexymom, i can imagine what it is like at the top of the mountains because i climbed several tall mountains in AZ and the view was just incredible. if possible, you didn’t want to leave the place.

toe, thanks for the compliments. here in AZ where there is plenty of sunshine, i wear less clothes quite often.

yes! never give up, and 40 (even 50) does not mean going downhill.

your climbing reminds me of my trek to one of the mountains in bhutan. i was with a friend, we have been trekking for more than 2 hours, and were already more than halfway, maybe just 15 more minutes and we would have been on the top where a well known monastery was located. imagine, my friend, in her tiredness and lack of breath because of the thinning air said, “I give up! let’s just go back”. my, my, my, i told her, and to think we’re almost there. we stopped for about 30 minutes, and i encouraged her. we are glad we finished our trek–the view was unforgettable, even the monastery had its lingering mystery. it was an experience of a lifetime.

i have to catch up with your posts–i have been very busy lately.

I’m terrified of heights and I don’t think I can ever try something like that.
