Weeding in the Garden

I didn’t realize my yard is full of weeds. The little rain that we had earlier made the grass grow faster. That means, I will be spending some time in the yard after work, about 2 hours a day, before dark. I have to put off the walking regime for a while until I get rid of all the weeds both in the back and in the front of the house. It is kind of hard to do because the soil is dry and hard. And squatting for two hours is exhausting, that is why, I change position every so often. I am hoping by next week, I will be finished with the weeding. Care to join me?
While weeding, I had a cup of tea and a persimmon for snack. I picked the ripest one off the tree and it tasted good already. It reminded me of manibalang mangga only without the acid. Though it needs several more weeks to ripen completely. The warm days and chilly nights will change the acid in the fruits into sugar. Nothing is better than tree-ripened fruits. Don’t you all agree?
Look at the transformation 2 hours later. Looking good, huh?

Great job, Belle! Don’t you just love it when you get lots done ?
Love the 3rd picture!

And you’re a sight weeding your garden. You have artwork on your limbs?!

(sorry for the taglish, i could not think of the english word for buelo)

Have fun on the weekend!
Great job! such a hardworker you are.
I didn’t see the weeds Ate Belle. I saw sexy legs! *whistle* I couldn’t agree with you more with tree ripened fruits. That’s why we go to orchards and pick them.
Btw, I tagged you.http://mgoodfinds.org/2007/09/21/be-inspired-boracay-desktop/
About your feeds, do you know how to edit your theme?
whoa, not a weed in sight. you’re more patient than me. hehe.
btw, i’m currently trying the last recipe you posted. not really sure of the amounts of each ingredient though so i had to guess the amount.
Elyani, i had to hold off on my walking until i get the weeding out of the way. i have two more days to go as it was raining hard yesterday when i got home and i went to the city today and didn’t get home until late. it feels good when i get lots of things done.
joyjoy, hehehe..thanks! musta na?
Anna, thanks…actually this picture didn’t show my fat.
Chesca, i have accumulated quite a bit of fat, you just didn’t see it. thanks, but you, however, is super sexy!
Greymom, thanks!
K, pighiling ko na su instructions, bagi dai ko daw kaya an. aram mo naman na tangingot ako when it comes to following computer directions. pero, i will try my best, okay?
mainit talaga oya, hilinga ta maistud na ako.
Liza, thanks! hehe, no one else would do the job but moi kasi ang asawa ko can’t squat like i do.
KK, thanks. when we were in VA one summer, we went to the orchard, too and did the picking of the fruits ourselves. they were so good!
tag? i think you and K tagged me of the same meme. i will see what i can do.
Wil, yes, i love weeding…it is therapeutic for me! i hope you got my email about the recipe measurement.
Oh, great exercise and that would really give you time to think. Oh, persimmon? I’m not familiar with that but it sounds really nice and of course, tree-ripened fruits are the best.
Belle, kahit saan you look fabulous! Nice one
hay, isa ito sa mga pinakaayaw kong gawin, kahit physically fit ka, prolonged squatting’s really hard on your back, but i also have no other choice but to do it because no one will (and i don’t want to pay somebody to do something that i can do, yun nga lang nakakapagod).
Sometimes clearing up does help to relax us and like you say, is therapeutic.
My goodness, that’s why you’re so slim!
that’s a work and a half Belle, as I absolutely hate weeding, so I line that to my husband… yeah, no wonder you’re slim, you’re a bundle of energy
I mean leave it to my husband… sorry…
We have worse weed than what you had in your garden. My daughter Trixie used to joke its like a “naglalakad sa gubat” hehehe…Anyway, we have a manang who comes once every three weeks or once a month to cut the grass and trim whatever shrub we have. I am not too keen on doing yard work when its the rainy season.
Great legs you have Belle. Take care!
Looks like a fine day to stay outdoors for some gardening activity. You’re looking sexy as ever.
I admire your patience to remove those weeds. I’m sure it required a lot of effort to do so. The transformation is surely worth it.
Hi Belle, galing mo talaga. And you’re so matiaga pa. Di ko yata kaya gawin yan…
I don’t see such “sexy” view in my garden…
My weeding is very minimal now. When I started my venture as a travelling nurse, I knew I was going to be extra busy and won’t have a lot of time to maintain my garden. So I donwgraded my garden then laid out plastic on the ground and filled it with mulch bark chips all over the front and back garden.
